OUR MISSION
The Nevada Cancer Research Foundation is a non-profit, research organization dedicated to promoting high quality, state-of-the-art cancer treatment in Nevada. All resources are dedicated to understanding the causes of cancer, its prevention and treatment. We support the community, local physicians and health care providers through educational initiatives as well as providing information on new treatment options, cancer detection and prevention, and the most recent research that is supported by the National Cancer Institute.

The Foundation is a Community Clinical Oncology Program primarily funded by the National Cancer Institute, the largest branch of the National Institute of Health. It is our intent to provide high quality and timely data to the National Cancer Institute in a research environment that sets the highest standard for the safety and welfare of our participants. In addition, we actively work with the National Cancer Institute to develop a community cancer network that facilitates the growth and development of important new cancer initiatives in Nevada.

Essential to our mission is the service we provide to all our research candidates and participants. We encourage active involvement by closely following all aspects of their health care, protecting their welfare, and by providing the latest information and resources available to them. We are here specifically to provide a service to Nevada residents and more generally to provide a service to all of the men, women and children afflicted with the disease.
