Our Mission
The Nevada Cancer Research Foundation, established in 1983 is a non-profit, research organization dedicated to promoting high quality, state-of-the-art cancer treatment and management in Nevada. To accomplish this goal, the NCRF-CCOP makes the program available to all interested professionals from various medical disciplines with state-wide participation, to provide access to clinical trial participation to the citizens of Nevada.
Our resources are dedicated to furthering the understanding of the causes of cancer, its prevention and treatment. We support the community, local physicians and health care providers through educational initiatives as well as providing information on new treatment options, cancer detection and prevention, and the most recent research that is supported by the National Cancer Institute.
The Foundation is a Community Clinical Oncology Program primarily funded by the National Cancer Institute, the largest branch of the National Institute of Health. Essential to our mission is the service we provide to all our research candidates and participants. We encourage active involvement by closely following all aspects of their health care, protecting their welfare, and by providing the latest information and resources available to them. We are here to provide a service to all of the men, women and children in Nevada who experience a diagnosis of cancer.
